留学生基本概况
General Situation of International Students
自1997年云南大学获云南省高等教育工作委员会授权招收国际学生以来，已有4000多名来自越南、老挝、缅甸、柬埔寨、泰国、新加坡、巴基斯坦、斯里兰卡、也门、日本、韩国、蒙古、哈萨克斯坦，加纳、刚果、喀麦隆、瑞士等30多个国家和地区在我校学习。1998年，我校迎来了第一位茶科学专业的国际学生李连喜（韩国），并于2002年7月顺利毕业。
Since 1997, when YNAU was authorizedby Higher Education Work Committee of Yunnan Provinceto recruit international students, over 4,000 long-term and short-term students from more than 30 countries and regions, such as Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Ghana, Congo, Cameroon, Swiss, etc. have studied at YNAU.In 1998, our university welcomed the first international student,calledLi Lianxi (Korea), who majored intea sciencewhose,and graduated in July 2002.

Development of Intenational Students in YNAU
2004年10月21日，云南农业大学作为首批云南省政府奖学金试点院校之一招收了4名省政府奖学金生。
In 2004, Yunnan Agricultural University, as one of the first batch of Yunnan Provincial Government Scholarship Program pilot institutions, enrolled four scholarship students.
2009年，我校获得红河助学金资助，2009年设立，每年约有20名留学生获得资助，共计140名留学生获得该项目资助。
HongYunHongHe Group Scholarship Program was established in 2009. About 20 students were supported every year, and over 140 international students were supported by this program.
2010年5月29日，我校留学生参加了由央视、国家汉办主办的第三届“汉语桥”在华留学生汉语大赛，并获得云南赛区一等奖1名、二等奖2名、优胜奖1名的优异成绩。
In May 29th, 2010, our international students participated in the third "Chinese Bridge" and won one first prize, two second prizes and one won the excellent award in Yunnan .
2014年3月11日，据教育部教外司《关于委托部分院校承担中国政府奖学金生培养任务的函》（[2014]374号），云南农业大学被正式批准成为中国政府奖学金生委托培养院校。
In 2014, according to Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, Yunnan Agricultural University was officially approved to recruit Chinese Government Scholarship students.
